Hosting with Intention

Hosting with Intention

A Stress-Free Thanksgiving Guide

The holidays are a season of gratitude, connection, and celebration – but they can also bring stress, full schedules, and a little chaos. At Acrely Farms, we believe that wellness should carry into every part of life, including how you gather with loved ones. This Thanksgiving, we're sharing tips to help you host with intention, create meaningful moments, and care for yourself before and after the big day.

Set the Tone with Intention

Hosting starts long before the turkey is carved. When you approach the holiday with intention, it shifts the focus from perfection to presence. Begin by asking yourself: How do I want my guests to feel in my home? Cozy, cared for, and welcomed? Then simplify your to-do list so you can actually enjoy the gathering alongside them.

A few small touches can set the mood:

  • Light a candle or diffuse calming scents like lavender, vanilla, and cedarwood
  • Put on a playlist with soft background music
  • Arrange simple seasonal decor – branches, leaves, or pumpkins straight from nature

It doesn't have to be elaborate to feel special.

Sip Your Way Into Calm: CBD-Infused Teas and Mocktails

One of the easiest ways to elevate your holiday hosting is through thoughtful beverages. CBD teas and mocktails can help everyone feel grounded and relaxed –  without the next-day haze.

Recipe: Autumn Spiced CBD Tea

Brew your tea, stir in honey, milk, and CBD oil, then sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon.

Comfort in a cup!

Recipe: Cranberry Orange CBD Mocktail

  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice (unsweetened)
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • Sparkling water
  • 1 mL (1 dropper) Acrely Farms CBD Oil Extract
  • Garnish: orange slices + sprig of rosemary

Mix juices with CBD oil, top with sparkling water, and garnish.

It's festive, refreshing, and calming!

Self-Care Before Hosting

Preparing to host can be overwhelming. Ground yourself with small rituals that keep you calm and centered.

  • Start the morning with a short walk outside
  • Take 5 minutes for deep breathing or meditation
  • Journal a quick gratitude list to remind yourself what really matters

When you tend to your own energy first, you create a calmer environment for your guests.

After the Gathering: Unwind and Restore

Once the dishes are washed and the leftovers stores, don't forget about yourself. Post-hosting self-care is just as important as pre-hosting prep. Try:

Your body and mind deserve recovery after giving so much to others.

Hosting with Heart

At the end of the day, Thanksgiving isn't about flawless table settings or endless dishes – it's about connection. By simplifying where you can, nourishing your guests with love (and maybe a CBD mocktail), and caring for yourself along the way, you'll create a gathering that feels both memorable and mindful.

Here's to a Thanksgiving filled with peace, presence, and intentional moments.
